Foodie Friday: Brunch at Tripel

Sunday brunch is becoming a weekly fav of mine.  I recently explored brunch at my local watering hole, The Tripel, and boy was I not disappointed.  I am pretty certain that a fried egg topper makes almost any food fantastic!  This is why I have fallen in love with "The Cure" burger.  Let's not forget the pretzel bun.  Also, I felt the need to add some greens in the mix so The Cobb salad was a perfect fill in.  The roasted chicken was grilled and seasoned to perfection.  Washed it all down with a a pear cava.  If you still have room after all of the above, try the sweet potato tots!  I kid you not, TOTS!  So fun.

There is nothing like a tasty hamburger, and I am constantly on the lookout for the best, sink my teeth in burger spot.  I love the unique combination of brioche bun and yuzo kosho mayo on the Street Burger from Susan Feniger's STREET.  The Pub Burger at Ford's Filling Station adds maytag blue cheese and caramelized onions for a classic salty sweet pairing.  However, my favorite to date is the Rustic Canyon Burger from the magical chef at Rustic Canyon Winebar and Seasonal Kitchen.  This burger is OMG delicious!  I don't know if it is the marriage of the perfectly cooked juicy burger with thoughtful add-ons such as sharp cheddar, onion fondue, house made pickles, and herb remoulade, or the finger sized pieces of bacon confit, but I am in love.
