Wellness Wednesday: Battle Rope

Want to mean serious business? Want to get a great workout in the shortest time possible?  Then using the battle rope to do some high intensity interval training. or HIIT, is the way to go.  The idea behind HIIT is that you push yourself to a high level for short bouts, rest and repeat.  This leaves your body recovering and burning calories long after the workout is done.  Doing it with the battle rope just creates another level of challenge as you have to use the total body to create the waves in the rope.  A simple program would be going as hard as possible for 20 sec and resting for 40 sec.  Repeat that 10 times and you will be cooked.  Enjoy!
