Foodie Friday: Homemade ceviche

Last night, I got bold and decided to make my own ceviche.  For those of you who don't know what this is - ceviche is a seafood dish marinated in citrus juices and other spices.  The dish is not cooked with heat, but instead is cooked by the acid from the citrus marinade.  The fish I used was fresh red snapper from Capitan Kidd's seafood market.  I also added fresh garlic, fresh chopped cilantro, onion, cut cucumbers, chili powder, salt, and black pepper for flavor and served it with fresh corn tortillas.  So yummy!

  1. I must admit, even though I am not a big fish person, this was tasty.
