Playa del Rey's got a new spizzot and it's called Tower 42. The restaurant reminds me of one of the many seasonal summer joints you find on the east coast. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is good. I would recommend sitting on the patio (it has built-in heaters) right before sunset with a refreshing glass of Chardonnay and a plate of their salmon tartar, perfect after a long weekend. Playa del Rey has many decent establishments, but Tower 42 adds some much needed class to the area. Welcome!
