Not your typical bicep curl

Workout Wednesday!

The ViPR Curl to press is a great way to satisfy two very real needs, great arms and functional strength (I'm a little partial to the strength side of things). The individual components of the movement, a curl and a press, work the biceps and triceps of the arm (front and back sides) giving you the look you want. But by putting the movements together you are also patterning functional strength and teaching the body work as one unit, this is a fancy way of saying putting a box on the top shelf just got easier. Also, by using the ViPR you can easily transition from the curl movement to an overhead press without any added stress to the wrists or changing your hand position. This training pattern is a great addition to any program and if you don't have access to a ViPR, dumbbells will work just fine.
